The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 14 minutes into the match, Enmanuel Gorostiaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albino Nofre. Talleres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enmanuel Gorostiaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Claudio Agnese took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albino Nofre. Albino Nofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Albino Nofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Jerardo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Claudio Agnese sped through Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albino Nofre. Albino Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanio Quilodrán, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Raimundo Barrionuevo's late challenge caught a Barrabases de Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raimundo Barrionuevo helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Barrionuevo. Albino Nofre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Agnese in the 39th minute of the match. Luciano Gipuzkoa took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Candido Ustariz. Candido Ustariz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brian Illescas to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Tanio Quilodrán's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Nofre was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Barrabases de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Enekoitz came free, but Candido Ustariz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Barrabases de Victoria got a freekick which was hit by Enmanuel Gorostiaga. Albino Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Illescas in the 80th minute of play. The Talleres supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barrabases de Victoria's performance. The match ended with a win for Barrabases de Victoria.
