The Quebra Ossos FC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frances Tisserand in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Marshrose defense, Richard Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Hatch. The Marshrose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Hatch should have stopped the shot. Marshrose's Santiago Hatch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Sabóia in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Garrett LaCaille got a free kick in the 15th minute. When Sílvio Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Quebra Ossos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sílvio Corrêa couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Dário Sabóia. Jame Gilliam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ronaldão Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Stéphane Dubose got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Téo Fonseca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Hatch skillfully saved the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Baudouin Pope was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marshrose's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebra Ossos FC the free kick. Baudouin Pope hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Sílvio Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santiago Hatch was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 35th minute, Reginaldo Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldão Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jame Gilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telmo Salles during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Quebra Ossos FC got a freekick which was hit by Telmo Salles. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Corrêa to make the kick off. Betão Marinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Santiago Hatch made a huge save. Quebra Ossos FC's Reginaldo Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Quebra Ossos FC's Richard Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Hatch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Corrêa in the 63rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Marshrose's Santiago Hatch got control of the ball when Richard Breckenfeld tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quebra Ossos FC's Ronaldão Paranaense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jame Gilliam in the 65th minute of play. Baudouin Pope kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes, Quebra Ossos FC's Téo Fonseca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santiago Hatch came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Quebra Ossos FC reached it. Elivélton Garcia hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Sílvio Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Marshrose's Santiago Hatch got control of the ball when Betão Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Aírton Queirós came free, but Santiago Hatch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aírton Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Marshrose supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Quebra Ossos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Quebra Ossos FC.
