After some careless play in the FC Barcelona defense, Zaquiel Boñar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 김 백. The FC Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 김 백 should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Astillero del Guayas's Zaquiel Boñar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 김 백. That made the score 3-0 after 19 minutes of play. The throw-in from Videl Amaya in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Barcelona's 최 선. In the 27th minute of the match, Alfredo Rioboo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 김 백 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 김 백 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Rioboo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Rioboos short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got 김 백 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 32 minutes into the game, Zaquiel Boñar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astillero del Guayas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Barcelona the free kick. After 32 played minutes Astillero del Guayas got a freekick which was hit by Zaquiel Boñar. 조 화 hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 38th match minute, Astillero del Guayas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Videl Amaya to maneuver through the defense. 조 화's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vinicio Collado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's 최 선 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vinicio Collado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 조 화 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Barcelona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Corozo Nevares scored to the left of an out of position 김 백, making the score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Rioboo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, 이 박 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Astillero del Guayas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Asensio Aranguiz in the 56th minute. 조 화 charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 조 화 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's 조 화 got a free kick in the 57th minute. 김 백 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Boñar, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Zaquiel Boñar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 김 백 was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Thanks to some nice moves 조 화 could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Vinicio Collado however easily saved by the left post. If 조 화 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from 김 순 in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Astillero del Guayas's Videl Amaya. After 85 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by 박 즙. 이 박 charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 이 박 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Astillero del Guayas booed when FC Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. 이 박 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astillero del Guayas's Asensio Aranguiz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Barcelona. 김 백 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Rioboo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. If Zaquiel Boñar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astillero del Guayas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
