The tension between the Olympique Fribourg and the DARAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paolo Rossi in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Arioli saved Olympique Fribourg from getting behind. Elia Delfs kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Paolo Rossi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli. Tristan Arioli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintus Melliger in the 18th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Nedyalko Berberov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
