Vitauts Miemis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Célio Mangueira in the 14th minute. Célio Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Vitauts Miemis made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiliam Seco during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Wiliam Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Alvis Bāliņš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 26 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Henrihs Rudgalvis. After 29 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Henrihs Rudgalvis. In the 29th minute, Célio Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélio Furtado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raivo Stelbaums went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 37thth minute of the game Vitauts Ziemotājs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joinville Esporte Clube's Hélio Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Vitauts Ziemotājs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Black horses's Vitauts Ziemotājs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Andrievs Stanguts hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitauts Ziemotājs was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raivo Stelbaums got free with Hélio Furtado in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raivo Stelbaums took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hélio Furtado. Hélio Furtado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When Júlio Valladares fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joinville Esporte Clube's protests and gave Júlio Valladares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Black horses booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Valladares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Furtado was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Raivo Stelbaums capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raivo Stelbaums really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. 71 minutes into the game, Black horses's Vitauts Ziemotājs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hélio Furtado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitauts Ziemotājs in the 75th minute of play forced Joinville Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Hélio Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Alvis Bāliņš. 77 minutes into the match, Bebeto Leal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitauts Miemis. Black horses's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bebeto Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. The audience was convinced that Bebeto Leal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vitauts Miemis was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Vitauts Ziemotājs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvis Bāliņš charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvis Bāliņš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 95 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Vitauts Ziemotājs came free, but Hélio Furtado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Black horses were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
