An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Guerra in the 12th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Sándor Nyíri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gábor Kárpáthy during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Mátyás Gácsi in the 16th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Renascer's Artur Ceresso. Gilvan Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Kovács, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrik Kovács got free with Gilvan Sanches in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Renascer's goalkeeper Gilvan Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrik Kovács. Sándor Nyíri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kázmér Kocsis charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kázmér Kocsis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kázmér Kocsis was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Kázmér Kocsis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilvan Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kázmér Kocsis in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, TUSE's Ödön Kertész seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ödön Kertész the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TUSE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ödön Kertész had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ödön Kertész hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Gábor Kárpáthy scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilvan Sanches, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Kázmér Kocsis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TUSE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gilvan Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kázmér Kocsis in the 94th minute of play. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
