Zé Pedro Mendes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Marquinhos de Andrade hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stano Amrich to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ŠK Horelica's František Kazár got a free kick in the 16th minute. Erik Vajda was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Vivaldo Munhoz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vivaldo Munhoz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Erik Vajda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Mendes in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Munhoz in the 21st minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Erik Vajda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 minutes, Vivaldo Munhoz made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute Jozef Koštialik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ŠK Horelica's František Kazár got a free kick in the 28th minute. With his leg Erik Vajda managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Goblins F.C.'s Vivaldo Munhoz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vivaldo Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Erik Vajda made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Erik Vajda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vivaldo Munhoz. Vivaldo Munhoz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Erik Vajda skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Agostinho Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Vajda having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jozef Koštialik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Goblins F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Paes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 56 minutes, Kaká Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaká Borges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vivaldo Munhoz in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Vajda saved ŠK Horelica from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Zé Pedro Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vajda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Erik Vajda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ivan Schuster fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ŠK Horelica's protests and gave Ivan Schuster a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th match minute, ŠK Horelica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by František Kazár to maneuver through the defense. Agostinho Borges struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Erik Vajda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goblins F.C.. In the 86thth minute of the game Vivaldo Munhoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŠK Horelica's Erik Vajda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when ŠK Horelica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stano Amrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Vajda having to make a save. Erik Vajda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Munhoz in the 90th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Goblins F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Mendes. In the 94th minute Vivaldo Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Vajda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Vajda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Pedro Mendes went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Goblins F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
