Wesley Ricketts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Teixeira in the 30th minute of play. The corner led Leon Sport Club's Marcelo da Cunha to fire away a dangerous shot which Wesley Ricketts despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rafael Benítez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robert Thorne's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. But to his dismay, Hayden Hartley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 45thth minute of the game Calvin Bourton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Sport Club's Rafael Benítez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo da Cunha came free, but Wesley Ricketts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Rafael Benítez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hayden Hartley. After 78 minutes of play, Leon Sport Club's Cauan Garcia made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wesley Ricketts was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 82 minutes, Robert Thorne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clapham Comets F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Thorne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Secco. 95 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Garcia came free, but Wesley Ricketts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Hayden Hartley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Benítez, 3-3.
