After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Álvarez defense, Raymond Verheije kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Farias. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Farias should have stopped the shot. Samuel Farias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Verheije, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diederick Meulders in the 22nd minute of play. Oliver Pluijssens made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Guillermo Manilan sent off a good shot on target. Raymond Verheije hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when Bacardi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias-Alexander Pellegrims didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Farias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Verheije in the 37th minute of the match. Samuel Farias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diederick Meulders, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Manilan got free with Oliver Pluijssens in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hilario Txanton hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, Bacardi FC's Henk De Greef shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Farias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bacardi FC reached it. Samuel Farias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raymond Verheije, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Deportivo Álvarez getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gabriel Huly hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guillermo Manilan made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Bacardi FC's Raymond Verheije ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Farias. Samuel Farias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 59th match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Huly to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 62 minutes, Guust Gijselinkx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacardi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guust Gijselinkx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 67 played minutes Club Deportivo Álvarez got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Manilan. After 68 played minutes Bacardi FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Denys. Bonifacio Pinto hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Samuel Farias got control of the ball when Diederick Meulders tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Diederick Meulders had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Farias. Club Deportivo Álvarez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diederick Meulders was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 80th minute, Bacardi FC's Enzo Denys ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Farias. Samuel Farias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. If Paulo Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lou Haesevoets in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diederick Meulders got free with Samuel Farias in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bacardi FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
