After 35 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Flavio Signoretti. When Ahmet Gökalp Toraman came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the TOKATSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Gökalp Toraman couldn't finish the play. Ercole Briganti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Halit Ziya Samil in the 38th minute of the match. Ercole Briganti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Erdem Keskiner in the 44th minute of play. Ercole Briganti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tekin Yergin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ercole Briganti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halit Ziya Samil in the 52nd minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Aurelio Di Giuseppe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ali Erdem Keskiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Ercole Briganti made a huge save. The supporters of Fiume Veneto booed when TOKATSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halit Ziya Samil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Di Giuseppe in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Suphi Akarslan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute, Ali Erdem Keskiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TOKATSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. When the match was over TOKATSPOR could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fiume Veneto throughout the match.
