A collision led to Juventud Antoniana getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Silvio Erauso hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Iason Kantimiris got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Evaristo Montxo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Iason Kantimiris charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iason Kantimiris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Iason Kantimiris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Evaristo Montxo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tasos Giannou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Montxo in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juventud Antoniana's Evaristo Montxo got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Vaggelis Karagiozis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The O.T.E fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Juventud Antoniana's Evaristo Montxo got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Evaristo Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tasos Giannou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Papachristou in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Digozis to maneuver through the defense. Tasos Giannou was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Evaristo Montxo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo Montxo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 33rd minute, Omiros Paspalakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Iason Kantimiris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Evaristo Montxo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Delmiro Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyriakos Papachristou to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Iason Kantimiris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Oihenarte was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Delmiro Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tasos Giannou having to interfere. Evaristo Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aristides Oihenarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyriakos Papachristou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Telesforo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when O.T.E was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thodoris Karnezis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tasos Giannou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Montxo in the 89th minute of play. Aristides Oihenarte made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Kyriakos Papachristou sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kyriakos Papachristou in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Oihenarte saved Juventud Antoniana from getting behind. There was no doubt that Juventud Antoniana were the better team. Juventud Antoniana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
