The coaching staff of Fiume Veneto protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cesare Marinelli had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Cesare Marinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Kousas in the 19th minute of play forced Fiume Veneto's goalkeeper Ercole Briganti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. O.T.E's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
