Lokomotiv Plovdiv's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Purcaresti CSS's Gigi Drăgan got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes, Purcaresti CSS's Octav Tomoioagă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evlogi Lukanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Purcaresti CSS reached it. After 25 played minutes Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Yoto Gradinarski. Costică Pacurar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Evlogi Lukanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Ganchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, Lokomotiv Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venko Cherganski to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Alin Holban didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Sokol Solakov shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 65 minutes, Dobrin Mishev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lokomotiv Plovdiv and the Purcaresti CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evlogi Lukanov came out and tried to block the shot, but Octav Tomoioagă slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 70th minute. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Vasko Haralampiev cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Alin Holban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alin Holban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sokol Solakov in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Sokol Solakov made it 6-3 with a short kick to the right side. Purcaresti CSS's Alin Holban tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
