After 2 played minutes FC Traktor Götz got a freekick which was hit by Silas Rudloff. In the 8th minute Reinhold Braunfels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Traktor Götz's Günther Heiß proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Traktor Götz from getting a goal against them. Capibaribe Stars's José Carlos de Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, José Carlos de Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Günther Heiß. José Carlos de Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 24 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Vasconcelos. Sérgio Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Daniel in the 25th minute of the match. Günther Heiß came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Capibaribe Stars's Ian Koehler. But to his dismay, Ian Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Sérgio Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhold Braunfels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Günther Heiß made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Koehler in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, José Carlos de Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Günther Heiß was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, José Carlos de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capibaribe Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but José Carlos de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Günther Heiß breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Gildo Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Heiß saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Günther Heiß made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Maranhense in the 42nd minute. Günther Heiß showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. FC Traktor Götz's Günther Heiß played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Carlos de Carvalho in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

José Carlos de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Günther Heiß tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günther Heiß took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Serginho Koehler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Günther Heiß saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Koehler took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günther Heiß. Günther Heiß dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a rather tough play, FC Traktor Götz's Alex Daniel got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Reinhold Braunfels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Breno Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Günther Heiß didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Koehler went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nico Penha in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Günther Heiß saved FC Traktor Götz from getting behind. Acácio Peres took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günther Heiß. Günther Heiß dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serginho Koehler in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper Günther Heiß to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Capibaribe Stars walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
