After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Sten Aruväli got a free kick in the 41st minute. Gvozden Maljković charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gvozden Maljković the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes NK BRONZIN got a freekick which was hit by Gvozden Maljković.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gvozden Maljković stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Gvozden Maljković ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elmut Saidla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. NK BRONZIN's Goran Mahalec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endel Tihumets in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to NK BRONZIN getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tvrtko Vidulić hit a great ball. In the 68th match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanel Kurvits to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, NK BRONZIN's Tihomir Karna got a free kick in the 69th minute. Goran Mahalec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endel Tihumets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Heiki Aabloo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goran Mahalec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, NK BRONZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Heiki Aabloo came free, but Goran Mahalec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, NK BRONZIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Guberina to maneuver through the defense. Goran Mahalec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endel Tihumets, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see FC Dundee lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
