Henri Van Hespe's late challenge caught a Ulan Bator Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henri Van Hespe helped the player get up and apologised. Henri Van Hespe hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Dolf De Messemaecker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Dolf De Messemaecker made a precise shot to the right of Arne Kest. Café DE PLOEG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Café DE PLOEG's Kieth Engelbert got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Artur Gyselincx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kest saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Dolf De Messemaecker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arne Kest. Café DE PLOEG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf De Messemaecker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Matthy Wuttemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glenn Roggen having to make a save. The supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club booed when Café DE PLOEG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Verhagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Vounckx scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Kest, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Café DE PLOEG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Gyselincx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dolf De Messemaecker made a kick off. The supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club booed when Café DE PLOEG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joost Rauvoets didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dolf De Messemaecker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dolf De Messemaecker got free with Arne Kest in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Matthy Wuttemans fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Café DE PLOEG's protests and gave Matthy Wuttemans a yellow card for diving instead. Matthy Wuttemans kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Joost Rauvoets sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kieth Engelbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Glenn Roggen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kieth Engelbert in the 72nd minute of play forced Ulan Bator Football Club's goalkeeper Glenn Roggen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthy Wuttemans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glenn Roggen having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Café DE PLOEG side.
