When Les Pionniers de Touraine's Christian Castex in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Espartillar's goalie prevented a goal. Timoteo Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrille Heck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pascual Camerino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Pionniers de Touraine were furious when Grégoire Chalvet was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dilan Mazoyer had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Cristiano Rolando's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Hervé Luce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timoteo Poncio. Real Espartillar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hervé Luce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 31 minutes into the game, Valentin Bouet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Pionniers de Touraine's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Espartillar the free kick. In the 31st minute, Valentin Bouet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th match minute, Real Espartillar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Paulin to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes, Eulalio Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Espartillar and the Les Pionniers de Touraine players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Espartillar getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Eulalio Paulin hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Mathis Devilliers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timoteo Poncio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Cristiano Rolando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilan Mazoyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Castex in the 44th minute of the match. Lucas Quilo's late challenge caught a Les Pionniers de Touraine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Quilo helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Quilo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Cyrille Heck shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timoteo Poncio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Les Pionniers de Touraine reached it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Les Pionniers de Touraine walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
