David Şneapotă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Czubski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Covaci struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Wincenty Bielecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viola Invest. After some careless play in the Viola Invest defense, Artur Czubski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Şneapotă. The Viola Invest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Şneapotă should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Czubski in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Şneapotă saved Viola Invest from getting behind. David Şneapotă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Kostrzewa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costică Abrudan during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of WZG Sandomierz booed when Viola Invest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Abrudan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute Artur Czubski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Şneapotă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Viola Invest defense, Artur Czubski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Şneapotă. After 47 played minutes WZG Sandomierz got a freekick which was hit by Napoleon Odachowski. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, WZG Sandomierz's Zdzislaw Purzycki got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Napoleon Odachowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viola Invest's David Şneapotă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. David Şneapotă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Kostrzewa in the 60th minute of play. Florin Răducioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Covaci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wincenty Bielecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Artur Czubski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Şneapotă was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napoleon Odachowski in the 67th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper David Şneapotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes, Nicolae Jilăveanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viola Invest and the WZG Sandomierz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viola Invest's goalkeeper David Şneapotă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Alfred Smolarek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Viola Invest supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching WZG Sandomierz's performance. The match ended with a win for WZG Sandomierz.
