The Characate FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Characate FC's Guillermo Barros Schelloto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute, Venancio Pacorro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Emil Löfskog was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Råbi FF's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 17 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Iban. If Jens-Ove Skark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Fabian Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasmus Kvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Råbi FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Skark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasmus Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Angel Iban hit a great ball. Rasmus Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlitos Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Guillermo Barros Schelloto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rasmus Kvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Guillermo Barros Schelloto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Barros Schelloto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rasmus Kvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rasmus Kvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Carlitos Tevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rasmus Kvist having to interfere. Leandro Ugutz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Barros Schelloto was the one to do the kick off. Rasmus Kvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Venancio Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Kalle Algren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Råbi FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalle Algren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rasmus Kvist made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Venancio Pacorro sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Rudolfo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Nils-Emil Löfskog took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Cucao. Characate FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Råbi FF were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Characate FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils-Emil Löfskog took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Nils-Emil Löfskog got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claudio Cucao quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Claudio Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Skark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudio Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Algren in the 76th minute of the match. Melker Tomasson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Råbi FF's goalkeeper Rasmus Kvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Carlitos Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasmus Kvist made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Guillermo Barros Schelloto sent off a good shot on target. Kalle Algren scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Cucao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Råbi FF's Rasmus Kvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Bittor in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the Råbi FF defense, Carlitos Tevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rasmus Kvist. The Råbi FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rasmus Kvist should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Characate FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Råbi FF throughout the match.
