A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Fidel Igon hit a great ball. Osvaldo Paublo hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Characate FC's Guillermo Barros Schelloto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Sugoi. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. Ildefonso Belarmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Cucao having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Fresco came free, but Claudio Cucao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Cristofol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Angelo Sugoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomero Cristofol slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 27th minute. Anselmo Afonso lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Luz y Fuerza! Guillermo Barros Schelloto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Angelo Sugoi made a huge save. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Clemente Rudolfo hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Osvaldo Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Sugoi made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Venancio Pacorro sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's Osvaldo Paublo got a free kick in the 44th minute. Fabian Bittor scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Sugoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Barros Schelloto made a kick off. Carlitos Tevez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlitos Tevez in the 57th minute of play forced Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's goalkeeper Angelo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Baldomero Cristofol hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the game, Eusebio Tibalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Luz y Fuerza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Characate FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Deportivo Luz y Fuerza got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Tibalt. In the 68th minute Fabian Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Barros Schelloto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Sugoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlitos Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Angelo Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlitos Tevez in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Fidel Igon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Characate FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Luz y Fuerza the free kick. Fidel Igon hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Carlitos Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Carlitos Tevez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlitos Tevez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Sugoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Characate FC were the better team. Characate FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
