In the 7th match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vebjørn Dyb to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Fulgencio Perico put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Arnstein Øvereng. In the 16th minute Vebjørn Dyb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Nerd Herd getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Christian Hinna hit a great ball. Arnstein Øvereng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Phelipe, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Antonio Phelipe put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Arnstein Øvereng. Arnstein Øvereng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Baumar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vebjørn Dyb made a kick off. Vebjørn Dyb kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Saverio Baumar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnstein Øvereng having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Høines in the 64th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Høines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Ignatius having to interfere. Belgrano de Pibasog's Andres Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Høines in the 81st minute of play. Christian Hinna got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 92nd match minute, The Nerd Herd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Hinna to maneuver through the defense. If Fulgencio Perico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Belgrano de Pibasog players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
