Kaj Pilblad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Hess's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The supporters of Real Matrei FC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Ladner didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 16 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Leon Burr. Hans Ladd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Lång, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Kaj Pilblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwood Franks in the 20th minute of play. Real Matrei FC's Kaj Pilblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hess in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Real Matrei FC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toby Ladner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tobias Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andy Lång in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hans Ladd, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kaj Pilblad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Hess's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Victor Hess put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Kaj Pilblad. Kaj Pilblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwood Franks in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Victor Hess's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaj Pilblad was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 44th minute Tobias Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Ladd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Eric van der Eycken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Matrei FC and the Santos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Real Matrei FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric van der Eycken didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Real Matrei FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santos FC were winning 0-1.

When Andy Lång came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Real Matrei FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Lång couldn't finish the play. Leon Myrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kaj Pilblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leon Burr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Burr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaj Pilblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos FC's Victor Hess slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kaj Pilblad. That made the score 0-3 after 66 minutes of play. The long shot by Jamar Maxwell in the 70th minute really tested Kaj Pilblad's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kaj Pilblad made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Victor Hess sent off a good shot on target. After 75 played minutes Real Matrei FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric van der Eycken. Sherwood Franks was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience was convinced that Victor Hess's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaj Pilblad was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Kaj Pilblad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwood Franks in the 89th minute of play. Real Matrei FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Sherwood Franks scored to the left of an out of position Kaj Pilblad, making the score, 0-4. Chants of Santos FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Real Matrei FC had held the ball for most of the match.
