Horaţiu Tinu's late challenge caught a Vila Zumbi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Tinu helped the player get up and apologised. Horaţiu Tinu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With his leg Virgil Lixandru managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Vila Zumbi's Fumo Pedrais fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the match, Ulysses Vaz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Virgil Lixandru, 1-0. Fumo Pedrais did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Virgil Lixandru 29 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Juventus PTM's goal looked a bit too open when Fumo Pedrais came free, but Virgil Lixandru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Şumălan scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Barreto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the game, Valer Donici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus PTM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Zumbi the free kick. After 40 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Valer Donici. Fumo Pedrais struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Virgil Lixandru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila Zumbi. Fumo Pedrais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Virgil Lixandru made a huge save. When Fumo Pedrais came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Vila Zumbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fumo Pedrais couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 55 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Tinu. After 56 played minutes, Vila Zumbi's Guilherme Almeida shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgil Lixandru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vila Zumbi reached it. With 59 minutes on the clock, Dacian Muncelean commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Valer Donici hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when Juventus PTM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Donici didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Guilherme Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgil Lixandru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Fumo Pedrais ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgil Lixandru was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After 76 played minutes Juventus PTM got a freekick which was hit by Valer Donici. In the 77th minute of the match Hílton Vander shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgil Lixandru showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Ronaldo Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Fumo Pedrais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Lixandru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fumo Pedrais in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Lixandru saved Juventus PTM from getting behind. In the 89thth minute of the game Fumo Pedrais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juventus PTM's Virgil Lixandru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Mocanu's late challenge caught a Vila Zumbi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
