But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Maeijnaerts couldn't finish the play. Virgil Lixandru was a little too slow when Etienne Reijckmans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. Alfred Maeijnaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Macamete during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Juventus PTM getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Iustin Macamete hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Ooms in the 31st minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Virgil Lixandru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
