He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Until Five reached it. In the 17th match minute, Until Five was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Baptista to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Until Five's Josué Fernandez got control of the ball when Olgierd Moryl tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute Beniamin Bojanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Betinho Furlan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Szczecin's Kryspin Banan did a great save. In the 37th minute Sandro Urbano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Banan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Marinho in the 51st minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Kryspin Banan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ignored Until Five's protests and gave Waldir Rosado a yellow card for diving instead.
