In a very dangerous position, a player in Pando CNdeF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Benedicto Riesco hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Kermit Morris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Suero Trifol skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the game, Santxo Peredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jerrod Staples was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Suero Trifol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kermit Morris's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Zarain in the 29th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Jerrod Staples to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suero Trifol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kermit Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Donald Kearns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Suero Trifol made a huge save. Suero Trifol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Corley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anastasio Zarain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Zarain kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Berry Corley kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Pando CNdeF's Anastasio Zarain got a free kick in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pando CNdeF's zone, Berry Corley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Suero Trifol came out of the goal and Berry Corley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, Kermit Morris notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pando CNdeF's Suero Trifol. Suero Trifol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flames FC's Geraldo Gagnon was substituted for Rusty Blalock. After having played for 70 minutes, Berry Corley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flames FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berry Corley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Pando CNdeF getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Pello Susvilla hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Pando CNdeF defense, Berry Corley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suero Trifol. The Pando CNdeF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suero Trifol should have stopped the shot. Suero Trifol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Gagnon in the 79th minute of the match. Kermit Morris scored 5-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Suero Trifol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Darin Nunn hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Pando CNdeF's Suero Trifol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Stokes in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Berry Corley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Suero Trifol was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Flames FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
