Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Per-Oskar Alefors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrlands Athen's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Oskar Alefors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jef De Langhe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urban Ingvall kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Fredrik Wijgaert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sten Skark. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Fredrik Wijgaert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sten Skark. Norrlands Athen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fredrik Wijgaert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Norrlands Athen's Per-Oskar Alefors got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Harrie Stuckens. Dave Goorts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sten Skark came out and tried to block the shot, but Dave Goorts slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 22nd minute. Sten Skark came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Brugge's Dave Goorts. But to his dismay, Dave Goorts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Jef De Langhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Bolin, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaert Ketelers got free with Sten Skark in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jef De Langhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sivert Bolin in the 44th minute of play. Sten Skark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaert Ketelers, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Per-Erik Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrlands Athen's protests and gave Per-Erik Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. Per-Erik Håkansson kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sivert Bolin was the one to do the kick off. Per-Oskar Alefors was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Norrlands Athen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Urban Ingvall fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrlands Athen's protests and gave Urban Ingvall a yellow card for diving instead. Urban Ingvall hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Sivert Bolin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jef De Langhe made a huge save. After 61 minutes of play, Club Brugge's Reinaert Ketelers made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sten Skark was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Rune Falkrans got a free kick in the 64th minute. Jacque Bracke charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacque Bracke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacque Bracke hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harrie Stuckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rickard Andreasson hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes, Harrie Stuckens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Brugge and the Norrlands Athen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Harrie Stuckens got a free kick in the 88th minute. Norrlands Athen's Per-Oskar Alefors took a good shot, in the 89th minute, which hit the crossbar above Jef De Langhe's head, and flew over the goal. Club Brugge's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Norrlands Athen. Fredrik Wijgaert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Skark having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Club Brugge got a freekick which was hit by Jacque Bracke. In the 96th minute, Sivert Bolin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
