Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) FC Buzău's Ionel Lung started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Tudor Bosânceanu got a free kick in the 6th minute. Mats Damm came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Buzău's Ionel Lung. But to his dismay, Ionel Lung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Halkus Valkus BK booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Lung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Halkus Valkus BK's Mats Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Inculeț in the 19th minute of play. Mats Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Lung in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Lung in the 24th minute of play forced Halkus Valkus BK's goalkeeper Mats Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gelu Chivu scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mats Damm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luca Inculeț struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Mats Damm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Buzău. In the 33rd minute, Luca Inculeț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Damm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Mats Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Lung in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Kasper Vester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costel Dorineanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Damm having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Luca Inculeț ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Damm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johannes Isaksson made a kick off. Gheorghe Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Tudor Bosânceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Mats Damm made a huge save. David Cismarescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mats Damm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halkus Valkus BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Ionel Lung scored to the left of an out of position Mats Damm, making the score, 0-6. Luca Inculeț received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mats Damm came out and tried to block the shot, but Luca Inculeț slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Ionel Lung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Bosânceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mats Damm made a huge save. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Halkus Valkus BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sorin Zâncă was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Buzău's players had a chance to rest. Ionel Lung kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, FC Buzău's Mats Damm threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costel Dorineanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Halkus Valkus BK's Mats Damm got control of the ball when Luca Inculeț tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Halkus Valkus BK booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Dorineanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ionel Lung kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Damm. That made the score 0-8 in the 91 minute of play. Halkus Valkus BK's Mats Damm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Inculeț in the 96th minute of play.
