Mats Damm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats Damm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rick Brabo's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Augusto Barros notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Halkus Valkus BK's Mats Damm. Mats Damm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jan-Ove Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Délio Munhoz made a huge save. Mats Damm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Teles in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Halkus Valkus BK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marcus Andersson hit a great ball. In the 24th minute, Halkus Valkus BK's Magnus Asplund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 27th minute Jan-Ove Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Délio Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Magos da Bola FC got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Barros. After 33 minutes of play, Magos da Bola FC's Rick Brabo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Damm was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Samuel Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Magos da Bola FC booed when Halkus Valkus BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvin Offendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball.

After 54 played minutes Halkus Valkus BK got a freekick which was hit by Egon Lennartsson. 59 minutes into the match, Halkus Valkus BK's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Brabo came free, but Mats Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Salles hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Dag Svanström missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 65 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Délio Munhoz right hand side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 69 minutes into the game, when Durval de Souza put in a rough tackle. Durval de Souza hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Magos da Bola FC's zone, Egon Lennartsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Délio Munhoz came out of the goal and Egon Lennartsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Délio Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Ove Johansson in the 73rd minute of play. If Samuel Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Magos da Bola FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Barros to maneuver through the defense. Halkus Valkus BK's Mats Damm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Halkus Valkus BK from getting a goal against them. Augusto Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Mats Damm made a huge save. Magos da Bola FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
