In the 3rd match minute, ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Roberto to maneuver through the defense. Mirel Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Pereira in the 5th minute of play. Richard Novaes hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Leonel Santos hit a great ball. Célio Roberto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's goalkeeper Mirel Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Pereira. Belmiro Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamim Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Leonel Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Godoi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Santos in the 23rd minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Belmiro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mirel Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Academia B.F.'s Gilberto Meirelles quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adilson de Queirós, made in the 25th minute of the game. After 27 minutes, Erik Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia B.F. and the ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ got a freekick which was hit by Célio Roberto. After 32 played minutes ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Barros. 34 minutes into the game, Valério Baptista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia B.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ the free kick. In the 34th minute, Valério Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Erik Pereira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mirel Galvão. ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Pereira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Academia B.F.'s Erik Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Pereira to strike the kick off in the second half. Mirel Galvão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Pereira went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Erik Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Erik Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirel Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirel Galvão came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia B.F.'s Gilberto Meirelles. But to his dismay, Gilberto Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Pereira in the 74th minute of play forced ＰＡＣＨＥＣＯＥＮＳＥ's goalkeeper Mirel Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Barros came free, but Belmiro Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Academia B.F.'s Valério Baptista got a free kick in the 88th minute. Juvenal Cosme hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Academia B.F. fully deserved thier win.
