The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Curumalán AFC's Victoriano Illart in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SIMvergüenzas's goalie prevented a goal. Boni Rojas took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Ishmael. Amado Ishmael dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Miguel Teresa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Illart. In the 13th minute SIMvergüenzas were awarded a corner. Jeremias Montero went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Curumalán AFC's goalie and right to Heliodoro Irureta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Curumalán AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 15 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Boni Rojas came free, but Amado Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boni Rojas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Ishmael was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Luis Pena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Teresa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Illart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boni Rojas in the 22nd minute of play forced Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Amado Ishmael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, SIMvergüenzas's goalkeeper Miguel Teresa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Illart. In the 32nd minute of the match Amerigo Leyva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amado Ishmael skillfully saved the ball. When Leal De la Torre came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the SIMvergüenzas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal De la Torre couldn't finish the play. Amerigo Leyva hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Leal De la Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Ishmael having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Estefan. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Illart was the one to do the kick off. Miguel Teresa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Illart in the 50th minute of the match. Amado Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bero Freire in the 53rd minute of play. Amado Ishmael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boni Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 58 played minutes SIMvergüenzas got a freekick which was hit by Gumersindo Verdeja. Curumalán AFC's Nicolás Domingo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SIMvergüenzas. 66 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Boni Rojas came free, but Amado Ishmael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Bero Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. SIMvergüenzas's supporters rose to their feet, but Bero Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Ishmael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Bero Freire took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Amado Ishmael to make any attempt to save it. Boni Rojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Ishmael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boni Rojas in the 86th minute of play. When SIMvergüenzas's Boni Rojas in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curumalán AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Luis Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The Curumalán AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SIMvergüenzas's performance. The match ended with a win for SIMvergüenzas.
