In the 2nd match minute, Cambotinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizinho de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve De kaiser's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. When Dante Deroek came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the De Keikoppers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Deroek couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cambotinha EC's Luizinho de Queiroz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Guilherme Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Francken in the 14th minute of play. Antônio Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ritchie Stocks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Leon Heijligem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cambotinha EC's Guilherme Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve De kaiser in the 23rd minute of play. Sandrinho Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ritchie Stocks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ritchie Stocks came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cambotinha EC's Antônio Toledo. But to his dismay, Antônio Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Paulo Bueno struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ritchie Stocks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambotinha EC. Tom Francken struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Guilherme Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De Keikoppers. Guilherme Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Heijligem in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antônio Toledo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, De Keikoppers's Steve De kaiser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Porto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 54 minutes into the match, De Keikoppers's Dante Deroek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guilherme Porto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ritchie Stocks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Francken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Guilherme Porto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of De Keikoppers booed when Cambotinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Keikoppers's Jannes De Mees couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cambotinha EC. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Guilherme Porto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Antônio Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Stocks having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Gabriel Gillekens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Keikoppers and the Cambotinha EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Gillekens to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Bueno in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ritchie Stocks saved De Keikoppers from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Bueno in the 91st minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Ritchie Stocks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
