Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Barros started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Papão de WC's goalkeeper Moisés da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. HORTALEZA FC's Ibon Vazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save HORTALEZA FC from getting a goal against them. Moisés da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Rosario in the 9th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Grêmio Papão de WC's Norberto Quadros ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ibon Vazquez. Ibon Vazquez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ibon Vazquez made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Norberto Quadros sent off a good shot on target. When Genílson Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genílson Salgado couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's goalkeeper Ibon Vazquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genílson Salgado. After 27 minutes HORTALEZA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dráuzio Queiroz who took care of the corner kick. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HORTALEZA FC! The goalkeeper, Ibon Vazquez, was totally fooled by Grêmio Papão de WC's Alberto Barros, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Moisés da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Rosario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Matias Ballesteros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HORTALEZA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grêmio Papão de WC the free kick. After 41 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Ballesteros. Grêmio Papão de WC's Dráuzio Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Alberto Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After having played for 54 minutes, Genílson Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio Papão de WC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Alberto Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grêmio Papão de WC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ibon Vazquez came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Papão de WC's Norberto Quadros. But to his dismay, Norberto Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Norberto Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Grêmio Papão de WC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Quadros couldn't finish the play. Grêmio Papão de WC made a substitution. José Pedro Novaes replaced Alberto Barros. After 69 played minutes HORTALEZA FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Castelao. Karlos Losada was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ibon Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Pedro Novaes took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ibon Vazquez. Ibon Vazquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Arturo Font hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ibon Vazquez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Pedro Novaes went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Grêmio Papão de WC's José Pedro Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. HORTALEZA FC's Ibon Vazquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Novaes in the 93rd minute of play. Arturo Font sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grêmio Papão de WC had won after a very even match.
