A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Paris Nestoriou hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Green Hell F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argyris Moustakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 28thth minute of the game Ismael Musko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Hell F.C.'s Fivos Dadamis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. El Retorno de Palermo's Osvaldo Tiniebra suffered a sore thigh after 30 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 32 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's Rigoberto Anaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fivos Dadamis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakis Kefalas in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Urtats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fivos Dadamis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Anaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Ismael Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Anaya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fivos Dadamis, 1-2. After 59 played minutes Green Hell F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Andreadakis. Cornelio Itzaina, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 67 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's Rigoberto Anaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fivos Dadamis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Apostolos Nalbantis's late challenge caught a El Retorno de Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apostolos Nalbantis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Apostolos Nalbantis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Amancio Urtats, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Green Hell F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Mariano Quinteros scored to the left of an out of position Fivos Dadamis, making the score, 1-3. Rigoberto Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fivos Dadamis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fivos Dadamis made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Mariano Quinteros sent off a good shot on target. Paris Nestoriou charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paris Nestoriou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Green Hell F.C. getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Paris Nestoriou hit a great ball. Sakis Kefalas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Retorno de Palermo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
