After having played for 15 minutes, Pedro Trabado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Golozos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Trabado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Mario Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rolando Ado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Romero Bolante. CD Golozos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rolando Ado hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Pedro Trabado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Lesardo to make the kick off. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Isaias Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Isaias Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romero Bolante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romero Bolante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Lesardo in the 71st minute of play. After 87 played minutes, CD Golozos's Rixon Viso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Mero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CD Golozos reached it. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Santiago Maurin got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Frisco to maneuver through the defense. Formentera walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
