An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Danielsson in the 21st minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Niels Willendrup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Ola Vollander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Pasbøl in the 29th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Per Pasbøl. Niels Willendrup made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Valdemar Albom sent off a good shot on target. Randers A.F.C.'s Niels Willendrup played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Albom in the 36th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Eyvin Klarup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Vollander having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Albom came free, but Niels Willendrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Thorleif Dandrup took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jens-Ola Vollander to make any attempt to save it. 60 minutes into the match, Al-Slottshöjden's goal looked a bit too open when Eyvin Klarup came free, but Jens-Ola Vollander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes, Valdemar Albom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Slottshöjden and the Randers A.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Randers A.F.C. booed when Al-Slottshöjden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Albom didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes, Kim Lang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Slottshöjden and the Randers A.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Al-Slottshöjden! The goalkeeper, Jens-Ola Vollander, was totally fooled by Randers A.F.C.'s Kaj Rubaun, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 83rd match minute, Al-Slottshöjden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Vollander to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Per Pasbøl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jens-Ola Vollander. The goal made the score 0-4. After 90 played minutes Al-Slottshöjden got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Arvidsson. Eyvin Klarup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ola Vollander having to make a save. Randers A.F.C. played a much better game than Al-Slottshöjden and deserved their victory. The Al-Slottshöjden players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
