In the 3rd match minute, Inter de Melão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Marcinho Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Dahlman in the 6th minute of the match. With a little luck, Frogner's Ulf Gadd got control of the ball when Ernani Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Gadd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeca de Sena in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Erik Larsfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frogner's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Melão the free kick. Erik Larsfält kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Jonas Bergman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcinho Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Inter de Melão getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gualter Cerezo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Frogner's Tomas Levander got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gualter Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Frogner getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Stig-Åke Palmquist hit a great ball. Ulf Gadd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeca de Sena in the 33rd minute. Jonas Bergman scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcinho Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcinho Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenny Dahlman in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Inter de Melão's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Bergman came free, but Marcinho Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Inter de Melão's Falcão Aguiar got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The supporters of Frogner booed when Inter de Melão was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Frogner's Börje Sandberg tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 55 played minutes Inter de Melão got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Motta. In the 58th minute, Jonas Bergman made a precise shot to the right of Marcinho Marques. Inter de Melão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Marcinho Marques successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 66th minute, Álvaro Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulf Gadd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Frogner's Erik Larsfält sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcinho Marques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter de Melão's Marcinho Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Melão from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Inter de Melão's Marcinho Marques got control of the ball when Jonas Bergman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcinho Marques made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Kenny Dahlman sent off a good shot on target. Inter de Melão's Marcinho Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Bergman in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Frogner's Kenny Dahlman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcinho Marques. Marcinho Marques yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Levander got free with Marcinho Marques in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Frogner left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Inter de Melão.
