In the 12th minute Ildefonso Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Verhulst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Verhulst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sayveon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henri-Xavier Vereyt kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Bartolo Heli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind TheBambiTooFurious's goalkeeper Manuel Celio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yoeri Van Der Straeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Celio having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Dominick Verengen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, TheBambiTooFurious's goalkeeper Manuel Celio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yoeri Van Der Straeten. Isidoro Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Verhulst having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Dominick Verengen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Westmeerbeek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominick Verengen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Verhulst came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by TheBambiTooFurious's Amancio Totakoxe. But to his dismay, Amancio Totakoxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Yoeri Van Der Straeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dominick Verengen to make the kick off. When Benjamin Thielemans fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sporting Westmeerbeek's protests and gave Benjamin Thielemans a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominick Verengen in the 56th minute of play. Manuel Celio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yoeri Van Der Straeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Sporting Westmeerbeek getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Nestor Naegels hit a great ball. Manuel Celio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominick Verengen went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Nestor Naegels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Thielemans to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Celio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yoeri Van Der Straeten in the 76th minute of the match. Manuel Celio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Antoine Vercammen in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Dominick Verengen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Manuel Celio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was a penalty for TheBambiTooFurious! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Sporting Westmeerbeek. Henri-Xavier Vereyt stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Celio. 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Pierres in the 88th minute of play forced Sporting Westmeerbeek's goalkeeper Norbert Verhulst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Sporting Westmeerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoeri Van Der Straeten to maneuver through the defense. Yoeri Van Der Straeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Celio having to interfere. TheBambiTooFurious's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
