Mauricio Adrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Angelucci's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, Chivos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Inko to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Evangelista in the 27th minute of play forced Chivos's goalkeeper Mauricio Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmondo Pellecchia took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauricio Adrio. After 43 minutes of play, San Michele AFC's Bianco Trombatore made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Edmondo Pellecchia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Adrio was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The Chivos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Michele AFC were winning 0-5.
