Diego Liberti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andrés Chavez scored 1-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Liberti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Liberti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Diego Liberti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Martinez in the 20th minute of play. Amedeo Baciadonne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dennis Manzoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Julio Lozano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Urbs LC's Dino Polmone got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Urbs LC's Demetrio Di Renzo was substituted for Amedeo Baciadonne. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Julio Lozano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Cimino, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Demetrio Di Renzo made a precise shot to the right of Julio Lozano. Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Leonidas Moscoso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Moscoso got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Julio Lozano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roger Martinez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Liberti having to interfere. Julio Lozano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demetrio Di Renzo in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Diego Di Mario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Urbs LC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenaventura FC the free kick. After 88 played minutes Urbs LC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Di Mario. After 96 minutes of play, Buenaventura FC's Toro Martínez made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Liberti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Urbs LC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Buenaventura FC to win.
