Hjalmar Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Moberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Pihl United got a freekick which was hit by Joel Holmgren. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thierry Henry got free with Olov Groth in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when Pihl United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliot Malmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Jens-Erik Brask shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hjalmar Lind showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mark Bergfeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mark Bergfeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olov Groth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony Wallin went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. When Anton Gallberg fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pihl United's protests and gave Anton Gallberg a yellow card for diving instead. If Arman Bremming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hjalmar Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Moberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Groth made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tony Wallin sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Henry in the 38th minute of play forced FC Snipers's goalkeeper Olov Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goalkeeper Olov Groth had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Gallberg. Olov Groth made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Tony Wallin sent off a good shot on target. Lukas Moberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Rasmus Gummeson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olov Groth. The goal made the score 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thierry Henry made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Thierry Henry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olov Groth. FC Snipers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thierry Henry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 57 minutes into the match, Rasmus Gummeson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Snipers's Olov Groth. Olov Groth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven-Olof Wästerberg during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hjalmar Lind acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jens-Erik Brask. Hjalmar Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magne Ryberg charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. There was no doubt that Pihl United were the better team. Pihl United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
