After 16 minutes, Maximo Bide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL PEPO FC and the 卡納里尼奧 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximo Bide hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of EL PEPO FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 卡納里尼奧 FC:s goal. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for 卡納里尼奧 FC. Abel Vidal stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Melquiades Patxi. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Elias Damasceno managed to get in a good position for a shot. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Damasceno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Patxi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Maximo Bide hit a great ball. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when 卡納里尼奧 FC's Elias Damasceno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 33 minutes into the match, EL PEPO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Alagoano came free, but Melquiades Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Patxi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Damasceno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Alagoano. The supporters of EL PEPO FC booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Régis Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half 卡納里尼奧 FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Edgard Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Guimarães having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Eustacio Loren got a free kick in the 56th minute. Abel Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Melquiades Patxi made a huge save. After having played for 59 minutes, Elias Damasceno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Damasceno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to EL PEPO FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Joaquin Tonio hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Elias Damasceno fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Melquiades Patxi, passed just outside the right post. In the 70th minute, Eliseu Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Melquiades Patxi came out and tried to block the shot, but Elias Damasceno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 82nd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Severino da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 卡納里尼奧 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino da Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Abel Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 卡納里尼奧 FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
