Karl-Axel Gustavsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Karl-Axel Gustavsson hit a great ball. In the 20th minute José Vítor Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Blomqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sverker Fanström during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arne Blomqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Arne Blomqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Rodrigues in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Alfred Anundsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MaLe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independente FC the free kick. A collision led to MaLe FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Arne Blomqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Rodrigues in the 37th minute of the match.
