In the 3rd minute, Haydar Özdinç made a precise shot to the right of Ben Everett. Stratton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ben Everett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Laurence Alwege hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Haydar Özdinç sped through Stratton FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ben Everett. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ben Everett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Battal Cüneyt Zahir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ben Everett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Haydar Özdinç notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Stratton FC's Ben Everett. Ben Everett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Brandes Starling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Everett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ben Everett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Haydar Özdinç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Haydar Özdinç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Battal Cüneyt Zahir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Haydar Özdinç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Everett. Stratton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haydar Özdinç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 46th minute Haydar Özdinç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Everett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half istanbulls were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haydar Özdinç was the one to do the kick off. Haydar Özdinç came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ben Everett could save by the left post. Ben Everett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Stratton FC's Ben Everett got control of the ball when Haydar Özdinç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ben Everett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Battal Cüneyt Zahir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ben Everett made a huge save. Jarrett Surman's late challenge caught a istanbulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarrett Surman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Jarrett Surman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Haydar Özdinç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battal Cüneyt Zahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Everett having to interfere. A wasted opportunity for istanbulls. 76 minutes into the match, Stratton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Battal Cüneyt Zahir came free, but Ben Everett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Stratton FC's zone, Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ben Everett came out of the goal and Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ben Everett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 85th minute Ahmet Göktuğ Arıtan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Everett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Battal Cüneyt Zahir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haydar Özdinç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Everett having to interfere.
