The KOCAELİSPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arif Burak Çimen made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Paul Guillevic sent off a good shot on target. The referee ignored Royal PSG's protests and gave Paul Guillevic a yellow card for diving instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
