The supporters of Edelényi Bányász booed when Cardo Ruso Cordobés was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 83 played minutes, Edelényi Bányász's Géza Szigethy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aureliano Louis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Edelényi Bányász reached it. Gergely Kormos struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Aureliano Louis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edelényi Bányász. When the match was over Edelényi Bányász could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cardo Ruso Cordobés throughout the match.
