The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Algot Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. HEJA ESLÖV's supporters rose to their feet, but Algot Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Per Ljungberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Grubb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Gloeckner in the 14th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, HEJA ESLÖV's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Känel came free, but Gabriel Grubb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Gloeckner in the 21st minute of play forced HEJA ESLÖV's goalkeeper Gabriel Grubb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoine Weyermann kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Leonard Lustig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute, HEJA ESLÖV's Leonard Lustig ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sean Berger. Sean Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 31 minutes, Maximilian Alkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HEJA ESLÖV and the ☠ Metal Militia ☠ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ☠ Metal Militia ☠ booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximilian Alkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvio Gloeckner struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gabriel Grubb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ☠ Metal Militia ☠. Gabriel Grubb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kevin Hintermann's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Gloeckner in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the HEJA ESLÖV defense, Antoine Weyermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Grubb. The HEJA ESLÖV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Grubb should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Antoine Weyermann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Grubb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of HEJA ESLÖV booed when ☠ Metal Militia ☠ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoine Weyermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in HEJA ESLÖV's zone, Silvio Gloeckner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Grubb came out of the goal and Silvio Gloeckner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Grubb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Gloeckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s Luis Känel got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Luis Känel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☠ Metal Militia ☠'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Känel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ☠ Metal Militia ☠ played a much better game than HEJA ESLÖV and deserved their victory. The HEJA ESLÖV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
