Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciro Txatxu started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, FC La Masia's goal looked a bit too open when German Uhin came free, but Vinícius de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes, Rubens Faria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC La Masia and the Independiente players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute German Uhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Justo Solustiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC La Masia the free kick. The supporters of FC La Masia booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Solustiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC La Masia's Cássio de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes, German Uhin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente and the FC La Masia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC La Masia booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Independiente's Denis Niva got control of the ball when Luiz Fábio Custódio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vinícius de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Solustiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, FC La Masia's Denis Niva threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Washington Trevisan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 38th minute, Zeca Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Cibran hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Inácio Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Denis Niva however easily saved by the left post. In the 46th minute Justo Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Washington Trevisan made a kick off. The supporters of FC La Masia booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Justo Solustiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC La Masia's Vinícius de Souza got control of the ball when Ciro Txatxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Washington Trevisan took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Niva. Denis Niva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Denis Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Washington Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Independiente defense, Washington Trevisan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Niva. The Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Niva should have stopped the shot. Denis Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Alves in the 78th minute of the match. Erasmo Cibran hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Custódio came free, but Denis Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente's German Uhin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vinícius de Souza. That made the score 2-1 after 83 minutes of play. With his leg Vinícius de Souza managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Independiente's Ciro Txatxu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 94 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Washington Trevisan came free, but Denis Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes FC La Masia got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Faria. Amadeo Rio's shot from long distance in the 96th minute was not bad at all, but FC La Masia's Vinícius de Souza knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 97th play minute Ciro Txatxu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vinícius de Souza. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
