In the 14th minute, Aníbal Carioca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Basarab Tapalagă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Kléberson Messias kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horea Copil. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Horea Copil made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Franklin Leite sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Cactos booed when Club13 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Duțulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nicu Marghescu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Club13's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Montenegro came free, but Horea Copil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club13's Horea Copil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Leite in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Franklin Leite made a precise shot to the right of Horea Copil. Club13's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Gugu Montenegro scored 3-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Horea Copil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horea Copil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Freire in the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gugu Montenegro during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gugu Montenegro hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Augustin Cernescu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Cactos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club13 for a fine match.
