After 21 played minutes Belfegor FC got a freekick which was hit by Amado Totakoxe. When Eliseo Benvide fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belfegor FC's protests and gave Eliseo Benvide a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Belfegor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Benvide to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Galdamez hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Gogo Selmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delfino Sauca, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sperides's zone, Amado Totakoxe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfino Sauca came out of the goal and Amado Totakoxe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Totakoxe in the 52nd minute of play forced Sperides's goalkeeper Delfino Sauca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Belfegor FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gogo Selmo hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Belfegor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Selmo to maneuver through the defense. Belfegor FC's Amado Totakoxe got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belfegor FC's Dante Bazkoare was substituted for Abel Iturri. In the 67th minute, Amado Totakoxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belfegor FC's Osvaldo Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfino Sauca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Selmo in the 71st minute of play. 72 minutes into the game, Bardo Villalcazar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sperides's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belfegor FC the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Bardo Villalcazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bernabé Cerreri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Amado Totakoxe came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Belfegor FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Totakoxe couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Gogo Selmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delfino Sauca. Sperides's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Selmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Amado Totakoxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delfino Sauca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
